At Shenzhen Safari Park in Nanshan District, eleven Siberian tigers have moved into an exhibition area in the park’s Beast Valley as the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Tiger, is approaching. 

Park visitors can expect to have a closer look at tigers through their vehicle windows during the upcoming Spring Festival holiday, zookeepers said. Female Siberian tigers reach their sexual maturity at around 3 years old, while male tigers reach theirs relatively slower than the females, according to the zookeepers. 

None of the 11 tigers at Beast Valley have reached their sexual maturity yet.
