Here Comes the latest progress on the Hongqili Highway-Railway Bridge of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway

Recently, the construction of the main tower pier of the Hongqili Highway-Railway Bridge of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway on the Zhongshan side has been completed, 40 days ahead of the planned schedule, leading the construction progress in the construction of the whole line's bridges.

So far, the construction of both main tower piers has been completed, and the bridge is about to have its tower body constructed.

As a major new infrastructure project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Hongqili Highway-Railway Bridge is the most critical control engineering with the largest span, highest technical content, and the greatest construction difficulty in the whole line bridge construction of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway, and also another large-scale super project in the world to create a world-renowned image for large-span high-speed railway bridges.

The bridge of 808 meters spans adopts a new structural system of highway-railway co-construction, super-short-span steel-concrete box (plate)-girder truss composite beam cable-stayed bridge, with an eight-lane urban highway on the top and a four-line high-speed railway at the bottom.

The entire line has 7 stations and passes through 5 cities.

The 116-kilometer main line of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway starts from the planned Shenzhen hub Xili Station, through Shenzhen Bao'an, Dongguan Binhai Bay, Nansha, Zhongshan to Jiangmen, with a construction period of 5.5 years (excluding the initial section).

The entire line has a total of 7 stations, including Xili (not included in the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway construction project), Shenzhen Airport East, Dongguan Binhai Bay, Nansha, Zhongshan North, Henglan, and Jiangmen stations.

The Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway section from Xili Station to Nansha is designed for a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and that of the Nansha-Jiangmen section is 250 kilometers per hour

After the completion and opening of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway:

The Shenzhen Hub Xili Station will be connected to the GanShen Passenger Dedicated Line;

The Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway will connect the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Passenger Dedicated Line through the Interconnecting Line between Shenzhen North Station and Shenzhen Airport East Station. Moreover, it will link the Zhuhai-Shenzhen direction starting from Zhongshan North Station through the Interconnecting Line. The main track of the Jiangmen-Maoming section of the Shenzhen-Maoming Railway will be linked to Jiangmen Station.
