The underground structure of the Shenzhen Bay Cultural Plaza project was topped off on July 28,marking significant progress of the overall project.

As a major cultural facility in Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Bay Cultural Plaza project is located in the central area of Houhai, Nanshan District. It consists of the Shenzhen Creative Design Museum and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Living Museum.

The project covers a land area of about 50,800 square meters, and the total construction area is about 188,000 square meters, including 136,000 square meters underground and 52,000 square meters above ground.

The main structures of the on-the-ground north and south venues, such as Sheyunshi and Xuanyunshi, are also entering their stages of completion. The main structure of the whole project is scheduled to be topped off by the end of 2023 and completed by the end of 2024.

The plaza is expected to become an important non-profit cultural venue with the theme “integration of design and technology.“
