The Tanglang Mountain Country Park in Shenzhen has introduced a brand-new feature — a highly advanced smart running track designed to provide a technologically immersive marathon experience for all, both amateur and professional runners alike.
After undergoing a two-month trial operation with the participation of over 2,000 individuals in more than 20 test events, the track is now officially open to the public.
The smart running track is equipped with devices including self-service race bib issuance cabinets, storage lockers, prize lockers and a 65-inch large-screen data terminal. The track also has three machines installed for users to record their running distances and time.

After a user registers on the “慧云智跑” or the “Hiyou Sport” WeChat miniprogram, he or she will pick up a number tag similar to a marathon runner’s which can be used to further store bags and retrieve prizes using the park’s intelligent devices.
The track was created through collaboration between Shenzhen Park Service, the Tanglang Mountain Country Park and Shenzhen Huiyun Zhipao (Hiyou Sport) Network Technology Co. Ltd.
Hiyou Sport organizes different types of races every month for citizens to participate in. Individuals can choose events that best suit their own preferences. In addition, individuals, families and teams can organize their own races using the miniprogram.
“Our objective is to efficiently organize formal races at a lower cost, allowing all participants to enjoy the power of technology and reduce the professional barriers of marathon running,” said You Yong, founder of Huiyun Smart Running.
The highlight of this intelligent fitness track system is that it supports individuals, families, communities and corporate teams to host running competitions. Various types of competitions are available, including challenges based on the number of runs, total mileage or the traditional one.
According to You, the intelligent fitness track is currently only being used at the Tanglang Mountain Country Park for trial purposes. In the future, it will be expanded to more public sports venues in Shenzhen that are suitable for marathon running.
