Six parallel forums, part of the 2022 X-Lake Forum, will be held today and tomorrow at separate venues in Nanshan District. The forums will focus on innovative pharmaceutical research, science and education integration, innovation and development of research institutions, and enterprises’ innovative development.

The forums will invite experts and scholars in tech, education, industry, finance, talents and other collaborations in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to share the latest research results, according to the Shenzhen Municipal Science, Technology and Innovation Commission. X-Lake Forum aims to become an important platform for international technology openness and cooperation.

The Innovative Pharmacy Research and Development Forum will be held at the China Capital Market Institute focusing on the theme of pharmacy research and industrialization.

The Science and Education Integration Forum will be held at Kylin Villa, inviting six guest speakers including Xue Qikun, president of Southern University of Science and Technology, and Jeffrey Sean Lehman, founder of the Peking University School of Transnational Law in Shenzhen, to lecture on the cultivation of high-level talents with innovative spirit, innovation of research-type university, reshaping of science in basic education and integration of education, research and industry.
