Now the residents, especially those working and living in Nanshan, have the new leisure option for their weekends with the opening of the new Chaguang-Tanglang Hiking Trail that links Shenzhen Bay via Dasha River Ecological Corridor and the Tanglang Mountain.

During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival from Sept. 10 to 12, some "moon" light installations were erected at Nantou Ancient Town in Nanshan District to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival.

The Shekou coastal cultural and creative street block is included in the second list of national nighttime culture and tourism consumption areas announced last month by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Citizens can now visit the University Town Section of the Dasha River Ecological Corridor in Nanshan District, which opened to the public on May 29, 2021. The 1.6-km waterfront eco-corridor runs through the Xili University Town.

A song, “When the Ice is Shining,” created by students from Shenzhen University and dedicated to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, was released Feb. 2 by Channel 13 of the China Central Television.
