The downpour prior to the start of the third Houhai River Dragon Boat Race didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the rowers on the water and the audience along the banks.

Nicknamed “King of Transfer,” Line 12, with 33 stations, covers most areas in the far west Shenzhen and encourages passengers to explore more places via transfer stations on lines 1, 2, 5, 9 11 and 20.

Now the residents, especially those working and living in Nanshan, have the new leisure option for their weekends with the opening of the new Chaguang-Tanglang Hiking Trail that links Shenzhen Bay via Dasha River Ecological Corridor and the Tanglang Mountain.

During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival from Sept. 10 to 12, some "moon" light installations were erected at Nantou Ancient Town in Nanshan District to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival.
