Results are out for the “What’s Up Nanshan” Talk Show Video Contest that took place between June 13 and 26. Chinese and expatriate residents of different age groups and from all walks of life submitted their works to show what Nanshan is like through their camera lens.

The talk show video contest is jointly organized by the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Nanshan District and Shenzhen Daily in celebration of the official launch of the newly updated Nanshan Government Online website.

"Nanshan, my favorite place," a second-prize winning video by Rafael Saavedra from Venezuela.

The winning video entries are produced in creative angles and cover various aspects of Nanshan such as ecological environment, specialties, natural and cultural landmarks, science and technology, and innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.

“Nanshan – The Thriving Tech Hub (南山—蓬勃发展的科技中心),” the other second-prize video by Laila Vergara Tungcab and Marlon Villaverde from the Philippines.

The jury has decided there is no first-prize winner at the contest but two second-prize winners, three third-prize winners and five merit awards winners. Congratulations to all the winners! Below is the winner’s list.
