In a significant move to bolster the gaming industry, the Guangdong (Shenzhen) Game Enterprise Service Center and the Guangdong (Shenzhen) Game Go-Global Service Center were officially inaugurated on Nov. 13 at a conference in Qianhai.

The establishment of the two centers in Nanshan underscores the recognition by both Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City of Nanshan’s pivotal role in the gaming sector. One center is located in Kexing Science Park, with the other situated in Nanshan Subdistrict.

At the conference, Nanshan also detailed its measures to support the high-quality development of the gaming and esports industry, a policy package offering substantial financial subsidies to fuel industry upgrading.

The Guangdong (Shenzhen) Game Enterprise Service Center will focus on four key areas: resource connection, policy guidance, game license application advisory, and compliance services. It aims to leverage Nanshan’s strengths in innovation, academic institutions, and capital to build collaboration platforms and offer tailored policy support for businesses.

The Guangdong (Shenzhen) Game Go-Global Service Center is designed to be an integrated platform offering market research, startup incubation, and other services, creating a professional model to assist Chinese game companies in expanding overseas and fostering new regional economic growth points.

Together, these two centers will collaborate with the existing Shenzhen (Nanshan) Game Innovation Development Center and a soon-to-be-registered Shenzhen Game Industry Association to form a comprehensive service network spanning provincial, municipal, and district levels.

As a core cluster for Shenzhen’s gaming industry, Nanshan has already formed a market scale worth hundreds of billions of yuan, hosting industry giants such as Tencent and iDreamSky.

To consolidate this growth, Nanshan established a dedicated gaming industry task force in late 2024. The district has since launched initiatives including talent cultivation programs, enterprise incubation, the first batch of corporate training bases, a special service for core talent, and national esports tournaments to build a robust incubation mechanism.
