Nanshan District has begun accepting preliminary applications for the designation of Shenzhen Multinational Company Headquarters Enterprises, with the submission period running until Nov. 15.

According to the "Shenzhen Multinational Company Headquarters Enterprise Designation Application Guidelines (2025 Third Batch, 11th Overall)," the program aims to recognize regional headquarters, head-office-type institutions, and divisional headquarters established by multinational corporations in the city. Eligible companies from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan that set up headquarters enterprises in Shenzhen may also apply under these guidelines.

Enterprises that are successfully designated will be formally recognized in a public notice issued by the Shenzhen Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau and will receive an official "Shenzhen Multinational Company Headquarters Enterprise" certification. The certificate is effective from the date of issuance and remains valid upon passing an annual review.

Designated companies can then apply for a headquarters reward pursuant to the city's measures for encouraging the establishment of multinational company headquarters. The designation will be revoked if a company is later found to be ineligible during the reward application process.
