The skies above Nanshan District buzzed with excitement as the issuance of low-altitude flight experience vouchers and the launch ceremony of the district’s summer low-altitude tourism activity took place at the Liuxiandong Strategic Emerging Industry Headquarters Base on July 1.

The ceremony kicked off with a detailed introduction by the Nanshan District Development and Reform Bureau.

The bureau recently unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to accelerate the district’s low-altitude economy, distributing “Nanshan Low-Altitude Flight Experience Vouchers” to the public.

The move, part of the district’s broader strategy to cultivate urban air mobility (UAM) and expand aerial tourism, aims to turn Nanshan into a national model for low-altitude innovation.

The vouchers offer access to three flagship experiences: low-altitude short-distance transportation via helicopter, aerial sightseeing tours showcasing Nanshan’s vistas, and science popularization programs for students.

To add to the summer vacation fun, Heli-Eastern’s Nanshan subsidiary launched two special sightseeing routes. To make it even more accessible, special discounts are provided for consumers holding student IDs or hotel accommodation records in the district.

The event reached its climax when 11 lucky guests were awarded helicopter flight spots on the spot.

Low-altitude economy, as an emerging economic form and transportation mode, is gaining increasing attention for its unique charm and broad application prospects.

Currently, Heli-Eastern has established multiple regular flight take-off and landing points in Nanshan, including the Lenovo Houhai Center, Transsion Building, and Shekou Cruise Homeport. For enterprises holding flight experience vouchers, they can enjoy customized flight services such as city flights, intercity flights, or other tailored services based on their specific needs.
