Nanshan District launched the 2025 “6·30” rural revitalization campaign on June 30. The ceremony was attended by Li Xiaoning, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nanshan District Committee and District Mayor, Cheng Zhenghua, Director of the Standing Committee of Nanshan District People’s Congress, and Zheng Chongyang, Chairman of the Nanshan District Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

These leaders presented plaques to charitable donation enterprises, recognizing their contributions to the cause.

The event has a rich history, originally starting in 2010 as the “Guangdong Poverty Alleviation Day” event. In 2023, it was rebranded as the “6·30” rural revitalization campaign.

Over the years, all sectors of society in Nanshan have actively participated in the event.

During the launch ceremony, a proposal was read out, outlining the goals and plans for this year’s campaign. The ceremony also saw the presentation of plaques to the charitable enterprises honoring their past efforts. Donations were made on the spot to encourage wider participation.

After the ceremony, representatives from the participating enterprises were invited to visit an exhibition where they gained insights into the high-quality development of Nanshan and how the district supports rural revitalization.
