As the graduation season is about to arrive, Nanshan District is offering free accommodation from one to 15 days to fresh university graduates seeking employment in Shenzhen.

The temporary accommodation, provided by the district’s Youth Community (or Grads Home), is part of a public welfare project initiated by the Communist Youth League Nanshan District Committee.

At present, there are two Grads Home locations in Nanshan, one in the Nantou Ancient Town scenic spot and the other at Taoli Pingshan, Taoyuan Subdistrict.

In Grads Homes, each bedroom is equipped with a bathroom, heater, air conditioner, and free Wi-Fi. Laundry and free parking facilities are available. They also feature book bars, activity rooms, and meeting rooms, providing graduates with various services such as transport guides, rental instructions, talent policy interpretation, career advice, and team-building activities.

Eligible applicants must be fresh university graduates within one year, looking for jobs in Shenzhen and without residency in the city. Applicants must provide proof of health and can only enjoy free accommodation at a Grads Home once.

Those who meet the requirements can apply online by logging into the official website (https://home.szyouth.cn) or searching for the WeChat miniprogram “青年驿站”. Reservations should be made at least two days in advance for a bed.
