The 2025 Nanshan District Spring Festival Flower Fair officially opened in the Dutch Flower Town on the morning of Jan. 22.

The opening ceremony was ingeniously crafted, integrating numerous technological elements to captivate the audience. These technological components not only provided a visual feast but also allowed for immersive experiences.

On the day of the ceremony, a towering 3.3-meter-high interactive art installation of flowers made its dazzling debut, extending warm Chinese New Year’s greetings to both residents and tourists.

Stepping into the flower fair is akin to immersing oneself in a floral ocean, where butterfly orchids bloom elegantly, azaleas blaze vividly, and fruit-bearing flowers like bergamot, kumquats, and lemons flourish in a festive display, drawing a steady stream of visitors to explore and select their favorites.

The fair also boasts traditional cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage hairpin flower markets, and a variety of cultural and creative crafts.

The 2025 Nanshan District Spring Festival Flower Fair features the Dutch Flower Town, Zhongshan Park, and Nantou Ancient Town as the primary venues, linking flower vendors in various subdistricts and major commercial areas across the district.

In the Dutch Flower Town, photoelectric displays have been installed combing modern technology and garden artistry. Zhongshan Park features a 400-square-meter New Year-themed flower landscape and festive decorations. Nantou Ancient Town hosts a comprehensive cultural event centered on the intangible cultural heritage of kite culture.

The fair will run from Jan. 22 to Feb. 12, presenting a comprehensive, grand, and thrilling festive experience for all.
