Nanshan District has established 32 low-altitude takeoff and landing sites that cater to low-altitude aircraft involved in passenger transport, logistics, community delivery, and medical distribution services.
Meanwhile, Nanshan has deployed 27 5G-A integrated sensing base stations within the low-altitude economy experimental zone, carrying out low-altitude sensing applications in multiple scenarios and initially possessing more accurate active sensing capabilities for urban airspace.

The district also actively expands the application scenarios. It has opened 12 instant delivery routes, five courier transportation routes, seven blood transportation routes, and 60 manned flight routes, with a cumulative total of more than 100,000 flights this year.

By 2026, Shenzhen plans to construct over 1,200 low-altitude takeoff and landing sites for low-altitude aircraft, including unmanned drones, manned vehicles, air taxis, and logistics drones, in an effort to enhance the high-quality growth of its low-altitude economy, according to a municipal low-altitude economy infrastructure conference held on Nov. 5.
To date, Shenzhen has established 249 low-altitude takeoff and landing sites, the highest number in the nation. Nanshan District’s 32 sites cater to low-altitude aircraft involved in passenger transport, logistics, community delivery, and medical distribution services. Additionally, Bao’an District is home to 35 such sites and has initiated 132 drone flight paths.
