The launch ceremony of Nanshan District’s 2024 Charity Month themed promotion   campaign was held at Shenzhen Talent Park on Sept. 1, in a bid to promote the high-quality development of Nanshan’s charity cause.

At the event, a list of themed promotion activities for Nanshan District's 2024 Charity Month was released, and certificates were awarded to a group of representatives of enterprises and social organizations, inspiring more caring individuals and organizations to actively participate in charitable causes.

In September of this year, around the theme of “promoting virtue, goodness, and promoting goodness in accordance with the law,” Nanshan will continue to spread positive energy towards goodness through a series of charity activities and publicity, such as the unveiling ceremony of the “Charity Space” and community charity symposiums, among other charitable activities and publicity events.

The Nanshan District Charity Association also collaborated with social organizations, enterprises, schools, subdistricts, and communities to hold charity and fairs simultaneously.

Xia Lei, deputy district mayor of Nanshan District, stated that starting from the principle of “promoting virtue and goodness,” we should play a positive role in helping the weak and the needy, and convey the warmth of charity in serving the overall situation.

According to Xia, we should adhere to the principle of “doing good deeds in accordance with the law,” strengthen the standardized management of charitable undertakings, and establish the credibility of charity in accordance with the law and regulations. Meanwhile, efforts should be made to stimulate the philanthropic enthusiasm of all sectors of society and create a charitable atmosphere through extensive participation.
