A significant step forward for Nanshan District public hospitals to pilot inclusive childcare services has been made, as the Shenzhen Nanshan Maternity & Child Healthcare Hospital--Sweet Home Day Care Center officially opened with the first batch of six classes providing 99 admissions.

The daycare center is located in Shahe Subdistrict, with a floor area of approximately 1,000 square meters. The enrollment target is infants and young children aged 0-3.

In the future, the daycare center will continue to be committed to providing higher quality preschool education and healthcare services, supporting more working parents to return to work.

The project is led by Shenzhen Nanshan Maternity & Child Healthcare Hospital and operated by Shenzhen Wellbeing and Wellness Group. It is a positive attempt to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of social forces and carry out infant and child care services in various forms, according to the hospital.

The opening of the daycare center also reflects the efforts of the Nanshan District Party Committee and Government in improving the childcare service system and providing residents with inclusive, high-quality, convenient and accessible childcare services.
