Nanshan’s performance underscored its focused investment attraction strategy throughout the year, particularly in key sectors like artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, and robotics. The district has newly introduced 378 key projects in 2025 alone, with total intended investment exceeding 150 billion yuan, with both the quantity and quality of its project pipeline ranking at the forefront within the city.

A major signing ceremony at the conference’s main venue saw Nanshan finalize agreements with four prominent enterprises: China Electronics Corporation (CEC), Hilton, Boson Quantum, and Yarward Electronics. These projects span diverse fields – core technology, high-end services, quantum frontiers, and advanced electronics – highlighting global investors’ strong confidence in Nanshan’s industrial ecosystem, business environment, and future prospects.

A thematic investment promotion event focused on AI Terminals & Software Information Industries is held during the conference.

CEC, a Fortune Global 500 and centrally-administered State-owned enterprise, further cemented its presence in Nanshan with the Spring Research Institute project. This new R&D institution will focus on integrated circuits and advanced computing, integrating technology research, standard-setting, testing, verification, and commercialization.

U.S.-based hospitality giant Hilton Group chose the Shenzhen Bay Super Headquarters Base for its first Waldorf Astoria hotel in Guangdong Province. This luxury project is set to significantly elevate the international standard and business reception capacity of Nanshan’s high-end service sector.

Boson Quantum, a cutting-edge firm founded by talent from Stanford University and Tsinghua University, will establish a coherent optical quantum computing equipment manufacturing center in Nanshan. Notably, China’s first large-scale dedicated optical quantum computer manufacturing plant, launched by Boson Quantum, commenced operations in Nanshan on Nov. 24, marking the country’s entry into the engineering and mass-production phase in this field.

Shandong-based Yarward Electronics, a leader in smart ward interactive systems, will build a South China Medical and Elderly Care Technology Integration Innovation Demonstration Base in Nanshan. The company’s products are deeply integrated with Huawei’s OpenHarmony system. The project will focus on expanding its market in South China and overseas, further enriching Nanshan’s smart healthcare and elderly care industry development.

During the conference, Nanshan, in collaboration with relevant Shenzhen municipal departments and other districts, successfully organized two thematic investment promotion events focused on AI & Robotics, and AI Terminals & Software Information Industries. These events systematically showcased Nanshan’s robust strength and complete ecosystem as an industrial leader to global investors.
