The Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen) Office of Brazil’s Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) officially opened at the “Go Global” Global Service Center in Nanshan District on June 26, marking a milestone in deepening economic and technological cooperation between China and Brazil.

Jorge Viana, chairman of ApexBrasil, and his delegation came to Nanshan for a discussion, where the two sides had in-depth exchanges on comprehensive cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, technology, and more. The ceremony, attended by over 30 business representatives and officials, highlighted Nanshan’s commitment to fostering global connectivity.

Nanshan, a hub for China’s tech and service industries, has long prioritized internationalization. The “Go Global” Global Service Center, established to empower local enterprises’ global expansion, now adds ApexBrasil’s presence to its roster of international partners.
A key highlight of the event was a partnership discussion between ApexBrasil and SenseTime, a Nanshan-based leader in artificial intelligence (AI).

During talks, Viana outlined Brazil’s incentives for AI development, hoping that SenseTime would apply AI technology to the construction project of ApexBrasil’s Brazilian headquarters, and use it as a benchmark project to promote SenseTime’s artificial intelligence technology to Brazil. SenseTime’s representative expressed willingness to participate in Brazil's development and construction through appropriate means.

In the future, ApexBrasil’s GBA (Shenzhen) office will serve as an important platform for deepening technological innovation and industrial cooperation between China and Brazil, building a two-way innovation cooperation hub that connects Latin America and Asia, and helping enterprises efficiently link high-quality innovation resources and market opportunities.
