On Dec. 19, the "Dream Seeking in Nanshan · 2024/25 Shenzhen Bay Wonderland New Year Season" kicked off with a distinctive event — the "For Dreams" Carnival, held at Shenzhen Talent Park.

The event featured a pop-up space with 47 brands, three giant Pokémon installations, and a variety of urban dream-making experiences gathered along the Nanshan Shenzhen Bay waterfront. This multifaceted event provided both residents and tourists with an engaging and enjoyable experience.

Following the appearance of the giant Snorlax on the lawn of Shenzhen Talent Park on Dec. 8, the first-ever illuminated Pikachu in China also landed in Nanshan on Dec. 14. Near the Qiu Xian Ge, fans of Pikachu can be spotted everywhere.
In addition to the incredibly cute Pikachu, the "Science No Bounds - Pokémon Science Trilogy" themed exhibition, co-hosted by "Nature History" and The Pokémon Company on the second floor of Qiu Xian Ge, has also attracted much attention.

The exhibition focuses on the well-known Pokémon characters that are familiar to the public, showcasing the evolution of these creatures through video, allowing visitors to relive the growth and changes of these magical beings.
The "For Dreams" Carnival has specially curated a pop-up space, gathering more than 47 well-received brands offering a variety of products ranging from beverages and food to daily necessities and toys. Within the district, several large interactive installations have been set up.
Starting from Dec. 23, every day at 7:30 p.m., a selection of outstanding films, including Myth of Love, Wonder, and Life Events, will be screened on the Shenzhen Bay Water Dream Stage. With the gentle sea breeze and the glittering stars as company, visitors can enjoy a unique open-air movie night.
The carnival will last until Jan. 1, 2025.
