The much-anticipated international fashion event, Vogue’s Forces of Fashion, was held in Nanshan District on the evening of Oct. 17, bringing together opinion leaders in the fashion industry, designers, celebrities, actors and actresses, athletes, and supermodels from home and abroad.

The Spring/Summer 2025 Shenzhen Fashion Week, one of China’s top three fashion events and a key fashion showcase in Asia, is scheduled to run from Oct. 18 to 26.

On Oct. 16, Vogue Business China released its 2024 New Fashion Capitals list in Nanshan. Shenzhen ranks first among China’s top fashion cities on the list.

“We have a major collaboration with Vogue this year, aiming to boost Shenzhen’s fashion industry and enhance the city’s global image. The event will take place at two of the city’s iconic landmarks — Shenzhen Bay MixC and Shenzhen Talent Park — and bring the audience an extraordinary visual experience,” said Pan Ming, head of the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association.

This year’s Shenzhen Fashion Week has chosen Shenzhen Bay MixC and Shenzhen Talent Park in Nanshan as the major venues, hosting a series of fashion events such as runway shows, exhibitions, forums, and online and offline ordering events.

Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event not only links top international fashion resources to Shenzhen, but also brings the development of the fashion industry in Shenzhen and Nanshan to the world.

Nanshan has included the modern fashion industry into the list of its emerging strategic industrial clusters. Previously, international fashion events such as Chanel’s 2023/24 early spring vacation series launch event and the  Shenzhen & Milan Lifestyle Week  were held in Nanshan.
