Huang Xiangyue, Party chief of Nanshan District, met with Nikolai Adam, head of international sport projects with German football club Eintracht Frankfurt, and his entourage on April 29.
Huang extended a warm welcome to Adam and his delegation, expressing gratitude for their guidance and support provided in the cultivation of young football talent and the coaching staff in Nanshan.
He highlighted the strong cooperative relationship established between the club and Nanshan in soccer, which has resulted in mutual understanding and support, benefiting both parties. This collaboration has not only enhanced the skills of young soccer players, but also deepened cultural exchanges through sports. It stands as a testament to the friendly exchanges between China and Germany in cultural and sports sectors.
He hoped that the cooperation between the two sides would extend beyond soccer, exploring to a broader scope such as tourism, economy, finance, sports products and training, and industrial technology. He then emphasized the importance of maintaining a sincere, open, and pragmatic approach to continuously deepen cooperation.
Furthermore, Huang outlined Nanshan’s plans to enhance its international vision, create a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, and provide greater convenience for foreigners investing, working, studying, and living in Nanshan.
Adam highlighted Nanshan’s significant accomplishments in economic development, cityscape, living environment and safety, positioning it as an internationally appealing destination.
He noted that Eintracht Frankfurt boasts a history spanning over 120 years and has more than 15,000 athletes across 50 sports. It highly values its partnership with Nanshan. The club is dedicated to deepening cooperation in soccer and beyond, maintaining an open mindset to explore more possibilities and achieve mutually beneficial development.
