Compiled with the input of foreign community leaders, native speakers, and international volunteers, the manual provides an immersive information service and guide. It aims to help expatriates feel at ease, live comfortably, and ensure a seamless transition into the Nanshan lifestyle.

Divided into 14 chapters, the manual meticulously covers the entire spectrum of experiences, from arrival at customs clearance checkpoints to settling in the community, using public transportation, and engaging in work and study. It addresses common pain points and meets the diverse needs of expats in Nanshan.

The chapters include practical information on secure community living, communications, smooth payment and consumption, travel, office environments, learning resources, rights protection, healthy living, leisure, entertainment, global cuisine, accessing official information, and community integration.

To enhance readability and engagement, the manual employs a graphic approach, with illustrations of complex processes such as exit and entry document calculations, work permit procedures for foreigners, and social security handling. These visuals are intended to create a relaxed and friendly user experience.
