Shenzhen Poly Theater, situated in the commercial and cultural heart of Nanshan District, is a premier performing arts venue and a landmark of the city. Often described as resembling a water droplet or a computer mouse, its striking architecture features a futuristic facade of glass and metal. The 15,000-square-meter theater houses a 1,551-seat auditorium and a state-of-the-art 1,747-square-meter stage, equipped with advanced acoustics and lighting for flawless sound and dazzling effects. As a versatile cultural hub, it hosts a wide array of performances, from opera, drama, and symphony to Chinese traditional opera and galas.

Nanshan Cultural and Sports Center Theater 南山文体中心剧院
As part of the larger Nanshan Cultural and Sports Center, the theater is housed in a building noted for its unique and aesthetic architecture. It comprises two main performance spaces: a grand theater with 1,325 seats and a smaller, more intimate theater with 356 seats. The grand theater itself is spread across three levels, and both spaces are thoughtfully designed to include dedicated seating for disabled patrons.
Originally built in 1993, the theater was officially reopened in its current form on Sept. 28, 2014, after becoming part of the newly developed cultural and sports center. Operated by the Shenzhen-based ACOrange Group, the theater hosts a variety of shows, including dance, opera, drama, symphony concerts, and traditional Chinese opera.

Huaxia Art Center 华夏艺术中心
The Huaxia Art Center, located in the Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) area, was completed in 1990 and opened to the public in 1991. This 13,500-square-meter complex consists of a striking pink main building, notable for its V-shaped, four-story design and artistic relief sculptures. The center comprises a main theater and a smaller one, hosting a diverse range of events from concerts, dramas, and stand-up comedy to large-scale national and international conferences and exhibitions.

Mountain View Theater 境山剧场
he Mountain View Theater is a premier performing arts venue located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Sea World Culture and Arts Center in Shekou. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Fumihiko Maki, the theater is considered the "crowning jewel" of the arts center. Its name comes from its stunning views: the third-floor lobby offers panoramic views of Nanshan Mountain, while the fourth-floor lobby connects to a rooftop garden.
The venue features a 304- to 328-seat auditorium, with a stage that is 14 meters wide and 6.8 meters deep. Equipped with professional lighting and sound systems, as well as a high-lumen projector, it is one of the finest chamber music venues in China. Since opening in 2018, the theater has built a reputation for its distinct and tasteful programming.
