The Hong Kong-listed company announced on March 31 that its full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robots, defined as non-remote-controlled, non-toy units approximating adult human dimensions, generated 820 million yuan (US$118 million) in revenue last year, a 2,203.7% increase year on year. The company sold 1,079 such robots, ranking the firm first globally in both revenue and sales volume.

Revenue in 2025 grew 53.3% from a year ago to 2 billion yuan, the highest among global humanoid robotics firms, according to the company.

The full-size humanoid segment contributed the lion's share, or 41% of the firm's total revenue, making it UBTECH’s largest source of income. Gross profit from that segment reached 448 million yuan. Such income stood at only 35.6 million yuan in 2024, accounting for less than 3% of the total. The gross profit margin rose to 38% from 29%.

UBTECH was the world’s only company to deliver more than 1,000 full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robots in 2025, according to the firm. Its Walker series industrial robots have been deployed in automotive manufacturing, smart logistics, electronics production, semiconductor fabrication, and aviation manufacturing, serving multiple Fortune 500 companies.

The company spent more than 500 million yuan in R&D in 2025, accounting for 25.6% of its total revenue.

The latest statistics show that UBTECH holds 2,985 granted patents, including 1,742 invention patents and 508 overseas patents, ranking first globally in humanoid robot patents. The company is also leading efforts to set national standards for humanoid robots in China.

The company, which was founded in 2012 and introduced its first humanoid robot a couple of years later, said it will continue to focus on the development and commercialization of full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robots.
