Nanshan-based company DJI has introduced the Osmo Nano, a lightweight wearable action camera designed for hands‑free capture. The dual‑sided magnetic mount lets users attach the device to hats, helmets, pet collars and other gear, making it easy to switch between selfies and portraits.

The Osmo Nano features a next‑generation 1/1.3‑inch sensor and a high‑performance image processor, delivering up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range. At just 52 grams and measuring approximately 57 x 29 x 28 mm, it is DJI’s smallest action camera to date.

Built for outdoor use, the Osmo Nano is waterproof to 10 meters without additional housing. When mounted in the Multifunctional Vision Dock, it gains IPX4 splash resistance, protecting against sweat, rain, and minor splashes. Shots can also be controlled remotely with the built-in OLED HD touchscreen on the dock.

Video capabilities include up to 4K/60fps recording and 4K/120fps slow motion, paired with a 143-degree ultra‑wide field of view. The camera records 10‑bit video, capturing up to one billion colors and about 72% more color space than standard 8‑bit footage. A D‑Log M profile preserves color and exposure information for greater post‑production flexibility.

For low‑light shooting, SuperNight mode uses noise‑reduction algorithms to improve image quality. Audio is handled by dual built‑in microphones for stereo recording, and DJI’s OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Connection supports two DJI microphone transmitters without requiring a receiver.
